See what we’ll be demo’ing and talking about at the upcoming Strata+Hadoop World event.

Get a glimpse of what Emerging Tech is working on. Join us and other IBM teams at the Strata+Hadoop World event in Singapore. In our booth, we’ll have team members talking about Bluemix, BigInsights, and Spark as a Service. We’ll be able to show you how Emerging Tech has built apps that leverage everything from Watson to Apple Watches to the remote controlling of IoT devices that are located half a world away.

Sound interesting?

If so, join us at Booth 144, and see how IBM “codes like a startup to run in the Enterprise”.

At the IBM Booth (#144), you’ll get:

  1. On site experts. Talk to IBM experts in Bluemix, BigInsights, Cloud Data Services, Hadoop as a Service, and Spark as a Service.
  2. Demonstrations. See what you can do with these technologies, using code that’s running today, live.
  3. Detailed Use Cases. Walk through how you can take advantage of cloud architecture to accelerate the building and deployment of your nextgen applications.

Want a peek at another tech we’re working on in Emerging Technologies, today?

We’ve been working on something called “conversational computing”, and have a demo illustrating how we tied together over 100 services to create a flexible, intelligent, and helpful virtual assistant (can you say “J.A.R.V.I.S.”?). Keep an eye here where we’ll include a link to the post once it goes live.

An Invitation to You: Meet the Emerging Tech Team

So, if you happen to be in the neighborhood on Dec. 2nd, at Strata+Hadoop World Singapore, swing by one of the many IBM demonstrations in the booth and have a chat with us. We not only have a lot we can show you, but we can also have interesting chats on where things are headed…

    David,

I have just returned from IBM Connect2016 in Orlando. We have a couple of very large scale projects where we wish to use conversational language with audio input/output in a cognitive processing environment.

I am also a mathematician by background and first became involved in cognitive processing back in the late 1990s due to the CambridgeU connection with Autonomy (now HP)…We have been an IBM Watson partner from the early days.

If you could respond by email I can expand further on what our requirements are the magnitude and background of hte projects.

    Thanks and kind regards,
    Nigel
